Do you have trouble sleeping?
Welcome to PAUSE recovery studio! We’re here to help you overcome sleep problems and achieve deeper, more restful sleep.
We know that stress and busy lives are the norm these days, so we understand how important it is to recover and how difficult it can be to get a good night’s sleep. That’s why we’re committed to helping you get the sleep you need.
What causes sleep disturbances?
There are lots of reasons why people have trouble sleeping, and lots of different symptoms that can result from it, so it can be a pretty complex challenge. At PAUSE Recovery Studios, we get to the heart of why you’re having trouble sleeping. We look at things like stress, anxiety, physical health issues, lifestyle habits and environmental factors that can all affect your ability to get a good night’s sleep.
For instance, if you’re feeling stressed or anxious, it can be hard to fall asleep because your mind is racing at bedtime. Physical conditions like back pain or breathing problems can also mess with your sleep patterns. On top of that, your daily habits, like how much caffeine you drink or how long you spend on your phone or computer before bed, can also have a big impact on your sleep quality.
Our team of experts will take the time to listen to you and understand your experiences and concerns so that we can build a complete picture of your sleep issues. This means we can make sure our treatments and advice are right for you and fit with your lifestyle.
We help you get a good night’s sleep
We take a holistic approach to treating sleep problems, focusing on both physical and mental wellbeing. We think that a joined-up approach is the best way to improve your sleep long-term. That’s why our treatments include a mix of different therapies, such as relaxing massage, sound therapy and guided meditation.
One of the key elements of our holistic sleep treatment is relaxation therapy. This can include techniques such as deep breathing, guided meditation and relaxing body therapies that help relieve tension and calm the mind. We also offer light therapy, where calming light is used to help you relax. This can make it easier for you to fall asleep and has lots of other benefits too.
We also offer floating, or sensory deprivation therapy, as a way of treating sleep disorders at PAUSE recovery studios. This therapy involves lying in a specially designed floatation tank filled with a saline solution that allows the body to float effortlessly. The lack of weight and the quiet, dark environment help you to relax deeply, mentally and physically.
By reducing the amount of information your body gets from your senses, floating can help to reduce stress and anxiety, which are common causes of sleep disturbances. The relaxing effect of floating can improve sleep quality by calming the mind and promoting a sense of wellbeing. Many users report improved sleep quality after just one floating session. On top of that, the magnesium in Epsom salt, which is used in float tanks, can help the body to sleep more naturally, making it easier to wind down and get to sleep.
At PAUSE Recovery Studio, we use floating as part of a full treatment plan for sleep disorders. We can also combine it with other therapies for the best results.
